Sponsor Showcase: Makers' Mercantile
/Makers’ Mercantile is a fiber enthusiasts’ haven located in Kent, WA. It is a community of crafters: knitters & crocheters, sewists, embroiderers, and felters - just to name a few.
For sewists, Makers’ is a great place to find unique fabric, some fun ribbon, or that absolutely perfect button to finish off your garment. Walk into Makers’ Mercantile and you will find a colorful, cheerful environment filled with quality supplies and the expertise to turn your creative dreams into reality! They have classes almost every day as well as space for people to just come in and hang out (including Thursday night Knit Nights!)
Since opening their doors in 2012, Makers’ Mercantile has been dedicated to bringing in high quality, and many eco-friendly, yarns. Working with independent dyers, they also bring in small batch, locally spun and dyed yarn as well. This focus on quality and uniqueness drives their fabric selection as well. From Stenzo Textiles to Kokka or IMPWear, they have fabrics you will fall in love with instantly.
Makers’ Mercantile has been a strong supporter of Seattle Frocktails since the minute we approached them - offering help in any way they could. Along with donating some goodie bag items, they have helped us logistically offering to print our materials for us. All the signs and flyers we have around King County are printed by them and it’s only with donations like these that we've been able to get the word out about our first Seattle Frocktails!
Makers’ Mercantile - thank you so much!!
